West Bedlington Town Council meetings usually take place on the second Thursday of the month and members of the public are welcome to attend. They generally start at 6.30pm at Bedlington Community Centre.
At the start of each meeting, there will be a fifteen-minute open session where the Chair will invite members of the public to ask questions directly to West Bedlington Town Council. We’re always interested in hearing your views and comments, but once the meeting commences, the public are politely requested just to observe, unless specifically requested by the Chair to speak.
You can view meeting agendas and minutes on this page, and they will also be displayed in the notice board in front of Bedlington Community Centre. If you would like these emailing, please contact us and we’ll add you to our mailing list.
West Bedlington Town Council’s scheduled meeting for 9th April 2026 was cancelled due to not meeting the quorum. A parish or town council quorum is the minimum number of councillors required for a meeting to legally conduct business, typically one third of the council members or at least three, whichever is greater.
Download :This is not a Town Council meeting, it’s an informal get together to chat about items relating to the town. The meeting will start after the Town Council meeting on 9th April 2026 at Bedlington Community Centre, around 7pm (but not before this time).
The draft minutes will be added in April 2026, but won’t be approved until the 2027 meeting.
